The LBT Series Target Flowmeter is a flow measurement instrument based on the principles of fluid dynamics. A hyperbolic target plate is positioned at the center of the pipeline. When the medium flows through the pipeline, it exerts a force on the target plate, and the force has a precise relationship with the flow rate and medium density.

The force is transmitted through a connecting rod to the force-balancing mechanism. The torque is balanced by a three-bearing torque tube and converted into mechanical displacement. The displacement is then amplified through gear transmission to drive the dial, providing a direct indication of the instantaneous flow rate.

The hyperbolic target plate features high sensitivity, uniform force distribution, low vibration, and an accurate relationship between the applied force and flow rate. The instrument has a compact and streamlined structure with no redundant moving parts, providing responsive and intuitive indication, strong adaptability, and easy maintenance.

The instrument adopts a flanged connection and can reliably handle media ranging from low-viscosity to medium- and high-viscosity fluids. It is widely applicable to flow measurement of various media, including gases, liquids, and steam.

For medium- and high-viscosity applications, the viscosity of the medium can be significantly affected by ambient temperature. Factory calibration is based on standard environmental conditions. If the actual operating environment differs significantly from the standard conditions, the instrument can be independently adjusted and compensated by referring to the accompanying temperature compensation table.
