Product Overview
The GLD mining explosion-proof & intrinsically safe encapsulated electromagnetic flow sensor (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) consists of a sensor and a converter. It operates based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and is suitable for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive liquids with conductivity greater than 5 μs/cm. It can be widely used for flow measurement and control of various water-based media and other conductive liquids. In addition to general conductive liquids, it is also suitable for strongly corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, as well as homogeneous liquid-solid two-phase suspensions such as slurry, ore pulp, and paper pulp. It is widely used for flow measurement and control in underground and surface coal mining environments.
The upper converter section adopts a flameproof structure with a stainless-steel enclosure and contains a flameproof and intrinsically safe conversion circuit. The lower section is a cast (encapsulated) intrinsically safe composite electromagnetic flow sensing tube assembly.

Explosion-proof Structural Features | The enclosure is made of stainless steel with a flameproof design. Protection rating is IP54. The cable entry device complies with GB/T 3836.1 Ex cable entry requirements. The outgoing cable is reliably soldered to the PCB, then sealed and compressed via sealing ring and cable gland. A mining cable with an outer diameter of (8–12) mm must be used. |
